Water Quality Analysis
The process begins with detailed analysis of the client’s water samples. Using advanced laboratory techniques, the water is characterized to identify physical, chemical, and biological properties, as well as contaminants that must be addressed. This characterization identifies key contaminants and establishes baseline water quality for testing.

Experimental Plan & Process Design
Water quality data is used to develop a customized experimental plan that guides bench-scale testing. Based on this information, multiple process design options are considered to evaluate different treatment approaches and determine the most effective methods for demonstrating treatability.
Bench-Scale Testing
Bench-scale tests simulate treatment processes on a controlled scale to verify the effectiveness of PWR’s treatment technologies on the client’s water.
Throughout bench testing, continuous sampling and analysis are performed to monitor changes in water quality and treatment performance. This real-time data allows for precise evaluation of contaminant removal and overall process efficacy.
Reporting & Recommendations
Upon completion of bench-scale testing, comprehensive reports summarize findings that confirm water treatability and demonstrate PWR’s ability to effectively treat the water. These reports provide clients with confidence in moving forward with treatment.
After the Study
Following the treatability study, PWR can offer pilot-scale testing to validate results under real-world conditions. This on-site, limited-duration phase tests treatment technologies at a larger scale, allowing for adjustment of process parameters and confirmation of performance prior to full-scale implementation.
Pilot testing delivers valuable operational insights, identifies potential challenges early, and ensures treatment systems meet client objectives efficiently and reliably. Throughout this phase, PWR provides ongoing technical support to optimize system operation, chemical dosing, and process management, enabling a smooth transition to commercial deployment.
