James Rosenblum, PhD

Since the founding of PWR in late 2019, the company has focused on developing proprietary water treatment technologies and methodologies aimed at the responsible use of produced water. Dr. James Rosenblum leads PWR with a substantial commitment to advancing the management of produced water within the oil and gas industry.
With over two decades of experience in water and wastewater research and an impressive academic background, Dr. Rosenblum has positioned PWR as a leader in innovative water management practices. His extensive experience is reflected in more than twenty peer-reviewed publications he has authored, all of which emphasize his dedication to fostering innovation and efficiency in the sector.
In addition to his role at PWR, Dr. Rosenblum serves as a Research Professor at the Colorado School of Mines Water Technology Hub, which further strengthens the company’s ability to combine rigorous academic research with real-world applications in water management.
Gerald Ulibarri-Muniz
Job title about field services?
Gerald Ulibarri-Muniz leads PWRs field operations. He has over 10 years of water transfer and treatment expertise in the DJ-Basin alone. He leads onsite trainings, system construction, and system automations. Gerald is a special forces veteran (US Army) and earned two bronze stars in his tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, amongst other honors during his 12 years of service. His experience leading teams in the military to his efforts in the DJ-Basin makes him uniquely qualified to lead PWRs field operations.
